This documentary will explain in-depth the historical, geological and cultural factors associated with this fascinating 8 kilometer stretch of coastline. Combining footage filmed from the land, sea and air with accurate facts to give the viewer a greater understanding of the cliffs. Also covered in this DVD is the village of Doolin, famous for it traditional Irish music sessions and small harbour. From this harbour our camera crew took the famous ""Cliffs of Moher"" cruise to view the cliffs from sea level. The town of Lahinch with its sandy beaches, golf course and surfing is a small distance south of the cliffs and anyone visiting the area should pass through this lively town. No documentary about this part of Ireland would be complete without talking about County Clare's unique rocky landscape, known as the Burren. Measuring over 250 square kilometers, this magical place contains ancient stone forts and burial chambers dating back to 1500BC.
